I thought about how the ? sign resambles to an hook. Next step was to draw a reversed hook that help another to get out of the mud. Then the mud became a sea to match Blender logo's color palette. It looked not so bad till I realized that "the thing" in the middle (believe me or not but it's just a man with a fishing rod...damn waves) catches too much ...

Alright, here is the one gandalf3, TARDIS Maker, cegeaton and I worked on: Few final things being touched up still Information For those of you who don't watch movies this is closely based of the final scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark. The idea is centered around what our site is, an organized collaborative collection of useful blender information. A ...

Blender.SE helps you to understand Blender3d in depth, not only face value. It is an original site with a special texture and color. When posting make the object clear so you don't drive the community off the edge. If you don't make your point the site will eventually be rendered useless and be driven off the SE grid. Remember there is always another ...

With the arrival of our new theme, I thought it would be a good idea to suggest something different from a render image: a screenshot of our site (We will get another one when the design is actually pushed). Boring it may be, This is still a safe bet, and shows what our site looks like (literally) to the outside. It also shows off the new theme, which is ...

Fortunate View the uncompressed full-res original here. Because Blender Stack Exchange is a place where you can get high quality answers to help you take your Blender skills to the next level. It might help a little that it is now on blender's front page! It is in the Official Updates from Blender Foundation, which means it will probably be there awhile.

Actively tweeting interesting questions and answers, I also submitted a story to /r/blender over on Reddit's Blender subchannel. (wonder how many downvotes it will get ;) Also from my answer on How can we ensure Blender.SE doesn't share 3DGraphics.SE's fate? My main suggestion is to share the site wherever and whenever you can, tweet a well ...

SE doesn't make specifically branded banners or such until a site graduates and gets its own theme. Right now we'll have too make our own banners/ads. You can find StackExchange's logo in a higher resolution here. Just be sure to follow their guidelines outlined here. You can also find useful pieces of elevator pitch and such to describe the site on the ...

Sorry to be the grump here but this isn't going to happen. Code golf was intended to be used like that, we have a stricter scope and I don't think contests should mingle with serious questions on the main site much less introducing new tags for these, as for helping the answer ratio, these would just be superfluous and in poor taste. On the other hand, I ...

You can get your user "flair" on your profile. It's an HTML anchor and image that updates regularly. You can use it to "show-off" your reputation and badge achievements.

I have been trying my best to get the word out there. Creating filters and sharing on social networks http://stackexchange.com/filters/93031/blender-python Posting rss feeds on Facebook pages, for example https://www.facebook.com/LearningBlender2.5 Adding Flair badges on blogs http://learningblender3dsoftware.blogspot.in/p/about.html Note: The former ...
