Thank you so much for pointing this out, this issue affected a large number of other users. The exact error, verbatim from the log: POST Content-Length of 12143120 bytes exceeds the limit of 8388608 bytes in Unknown on line 0 What was happening (to ALOT of users it seems, based on my error log), is that the file, which is sent in the HTTP post request, ...

Until this is fixed you can use the inline link syntax: [Blender](http://www.blender.org): == Which renders as: Blender: Update The problem was that due to a bug in the markdown code, the Blender][1 part [Blender][1]: was considered a link hash (a normal link hash has the format of [{id}]:) and was stripped out. Fix will be rolling out shortly. Watch ...

You only get the 100 rep association bonus when you join a stackexchange site while having another SE site that has 200+ rep. How does "Reputation" work?. You only have (one) account.

You can only upload images in a supported format: jpg, PNG, tiff, bmp or gif. If you try to upload an unsupported file type, should show you a warning : Also, see if you can scroll around the new window that's created. You should see something like this: It's possible that the button is just hidden at the bottom of the window. Lastly, try a different ...

This is an ambiguity in the Markdown specification. See Code block is not properly formatted when placed immediately after a list item. A quick and simple fix is to do as you've done and put a string of text there. A comment <!-- --> should do the job if you need to keep the post clean. Item one Item Two # this is supposed to be a code comment ...

After editing a tag wiki, the notification that indicates there is an un-reviewed item is visible… but you cannot review it, as you suggested the edit. This is normal. You have the access to moderator tools privilege (unlocked at 2k rep on beta sites and at 10k on graduated sites) so you will get notifications for normal suggested edits excluding ...

This is because imgur provides a jpeg for the smaller version (yes, it still has the .png extension, but don't let that fool you). Jpeg doesn't support an alpha channel, so imgur replaces it with a solid color. The only way around this is to resize yourself and upload two pngs, then link them like this: [![Blender logo](https://small/image.png)](https://...

I would add that this same issue is visible on the site chat page: http://chat.stackexchange.com/?host=blender.stackexchange.com (oddly none of the other chat pages are styled with the new blender site theme.)

If the keyboard shortcut doesn't work try using the icon to add images:

These messages both came from May 4 when you attempted to ask Why is Bump causing blackout of material and self-answer. If you look at your reputation history you can see you hadn't yet earned any reputation. (Well, you had, but the post was deleted, which meant you lost it.) Looking at the logs, I don't see any time the system blocked you from posting ...

Copy paste from meta.se for closure. It won't, at least not always. The review indicator in the top-bar is not calculated on a per-user basis, but on a per-site basis. The counts in the review queue itself are calculated on a per-user basis. The top-bar indicator also won't always be accurate (and it's cached), which is why the tooltip has a ~ to indicate ...

Sorry, I forgot to check and fix that part in the excitement of the launch :) The logo has a darker background now in those places.

This also occurs in any of the B.SE chat rooms. For example, part of the conversation with Mike Pan today: (Don't hate on Mike, he realized his mistake soon after :P) You can barely see the "Blender Stack Exchange" next to the new logo.

It appears that was the reason. There was a relationship between preferences and user-preferences it seems. I went ahead and made both preferences and user-preferences a synonym of customization and merged all previous questions into that.

That's not a close notice - it is a custom close reason, which someone made a typo in, and others have selected as well. The actual notice, now that the question is closed says: This question does not appear to be about Blender within the scope defined in the help center. The comment with the typo is there as well. There is nothing to fix it, except ...

python-api appears because it is a tag synonym for python, if you chose either, it would give you the same tag. Originally, there was python-api and the less used scripting then there was a trial period when we were deciding whether or not to just make one giant python tag or keep separate variants. However, since the python is shorter and the one being ...

Well you were answer banned. That is why you got the "We are no longer accepting answers from this account" message. Looking at your answers, I think it was probably deleting this one that pushed you over the edge of SE's low quality filter. As of right now your account does not have any bans against it, so read the linked meta post, keep your questions ...

It has been fixed! ^^Now with SSL Certs (you can see that image link points to https). Thanks to @gandalf3 for recommending https://letsencrypt.org/, which allowed me to get free SSL certs for blend-exchange. I still have to update the copy-paste on the website. I will do that soon. in the mean time links can be manually fixed
